自二十世紀以來，大量出土文獻的湧現，掀起了研究古籍的熱潮。學者提倡取地下之文獻與地上之文獻互相印證，取得不少的學術成果。《楚辭》是中國戰國時代以屈原爲代表的文學總集，向來被稱為集部之首，在中國文學史上有崇高的地位。過去由於研究資料分散，學者要從中搜尋《楚辭》與出土文獻有關的材料極不容易。職此之故，本計劃專門設立以出土文獻與《楚辭》對比研究的資料庫，供研究人員檢索與應用。資料庫共兩分部分，包括「出土簡帛文獻與《楚辭》釋讀」和「出土簡帛文獻與《楚辭》研究論著目錄」，前者主要羅列學者利用出土文獻對《楚辭》文本字詞的考釋，以及與《楚辭》文本對應之新出簡帛文獻字詞；後者則搜集《楚辭》與出土文獻有關的研究著作。本資料庫之構建，得力於香港特別行政區大學教育資助委員會發展計劃撥款資助(項目編號：UGC/FDS14/H05/17)，謹此致謝。

Since the 20^th century, the excavation of a large number of historical texts has stimulated great enthusiasm in the study of ancient books. Some scholars advocate the use of both textual materials and new archaeological finds to prove the authenticity of various documents. This method yields fruitful results. The literary anthology Chuci attributed mainly to Qu Yuan from the Warring States Period has always been listed as the first item in the “literature section” in traditional Chinese bibliography, and is hailed as one of the most important pioneering works in Chinese literary history. In the past, scattered information renders it extremely difficult for scholars to search for all excavated materials related to Chuci. To tackle such a problem, this project sets up a database that could facilitate a comparative study between excavated texts and the received version of Chuci, and enable scholars to search through these materials. The database consists of two sections: (1) “Interpretation of Chuci with the Use of Excavated Texts” and (2) “Bibliography of Chuci Studies and Excavated Texts.” The former lists how different scholars interpret the text of Chuci with the use of the newly excavated bamboo strips and silk manuscripts. It also juxtaposes the words found in the excavated texts that correspond to the text of Chuci. The latter allows researchers to search for secondary scholarship on Chuci and excavated texts.
